The cadets meet weekly from September through April.
A typical evening encompasses a number of activities including...
The opening exercises include prayer and the recitation of the Cadet landmarks which include the Cadet motto, code, pledge and verse. The landmarks are the guideposts in the adventure called cadeting. The landmarks are something every Cadet must memorize and understand so that they will discover how the Lord is at work in their lives.
The Bible lesson helps the Cadet understand how they fit into Gods world. The lessons are prepared by the Cadet organization. To find out more about the Cadet organization please click on the link at the bottom of the page.
The balance of the evening is taken up by merit badge work or crafts often with a little time left for games.
The closing exercise includes ... singing the Cadet hymn, prayer and a farewell until the next week.
