CRWRC DRS Classis Toronto Mission Trip

The 1st team is now home from Hattiesburg, Mississippi. They have accomplished a lot. The exterior walls are up and also the interior walls. The roof trusses are in place and shingles have been laid. The plumbing and electrical has been installed. It has been a very productive week. The 2nd team of 27 people from Crossland’s Church in Newmarket and 3 from Springdale CRC have arrived and are eager to continue on this house. Since there are so many people on this team, some will be working on a second house nearby. Carol Day-Toy is the recipient of the Classis Toronto home. She is in a wheelchair most of the time or uses a walker to get about. Her monthly income is so low that at times she can only afford to pay her rent and sometimes cannot pay her utilities and goes without. Having this new home will be a great joy for her. Please pray for the teams as they travel to and fro from home to site and back home again. Pray for safety as they work and pray for Carol that the Lord will bless her with this new home at the end of our 5 week mission trip.

Join the March 13 Groundwork conversation on Matthew 21:1-17. Find a local radio station or listen online at www.GroundworkOnline.com.

Crwrc Requests Your Urgent Prayers For Pakistan

The shooting of Pakistan's only Christian cabinet minister by militant extremists this week is causing renewed concern for the security of Pakistani Christians, CRWRC’s partner staff in Pakistan, and CRWRC volunteers in-country. Please intercede on CRWRC’s behalf in this increasingly restrictive environment, and for the Christian minority population that is struggling to survive there. For more information about CRWRC’s response to flooding in Pakistan, go to www.crwrc.org/pakistan.
